Job Title:  Project Engineer

Duties: Conduct site visits and perform energy audits and retro-commissioning studies. Perform engineering analysis/energy savings calculations utilizing Microsoft Excel and eQuest energy modeling software. Write energy efficiency reports for ASHRAE Level I, II, and III energy audits. Perform feasibility, energy savings, and cost-benefit financial analyses for potential energy savings and decarbonization measures. Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and sizing for engineering design of HVAC systems. Prepare AutoCAD MEP working drawings, detail drawings, schedules, and isometrics for plan/spec and as-built drawings.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and 1 year of experience in Engineering. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience (e.g., Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Engineering). Will accept U.S. equivalent of the degrees.

Days/hours of work:  40 hrs. per week. 9:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F

Geographic Location: Lake Success, NY. Local travel to client site (commuting distance of office) required.
