Job Title: Project Engineer

 

Duties: Conduct site visits and perform energy audits and retro-commissioning studies. Collect on-site HVAC data and perform engineering analysis, including load calculations for energy consumption and equipment sizing. Prepare AutoCAD MEP working drawings, detailed drawings, schedules, and isometrics for plan/spec and as-built drawings. Write reports for ASHRAE Level I, II & III energy audits. Analyze building energy consumption to identify potential opportunities for energy savings. Perform heating & cooling load calculations and select and size equipment to design efficient HVAC Systems.

 

Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and 1 year of experience in Engineering. Will accept the U.S. equivalent of the degree.

 

Days/hours of work: 40 hrs. per week. 7:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F

 

Geographic Location: Lake Success, NY. Local travel to client sites (within commuting distance of the office) required.
